For sale is a brand new, sealed, never used, Black MacBook.

- 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo
- 120gb hard drive
- 1gb ram
- SuperDrive
- sealed in box

I'm hoping to get a MBP, so I'm selling this to save up. I have done plenty of deals on the forums and can get pictures and a screenshot of the warranty information.

$1250 shipped.

might want to take some pics of the laptop itself- have to say it's a little shady that someone with as few posts as you have is selling this with only pics of the BOX.

Well, then it wouldn't be a sealed box anymore, and he'd lose money on it....:S

I'm sure you could post some pictures of the box seal to help alleviate some concerns.

Sorry for the any confusion. It's true I have little posts here, but that is only because I spend more time on other Mac and VW forums. I'm a fan of MacNN, just have to keep my time in certain places.

The third pic down is a pic of the seal, but if it's not easily seen I can definitely take another picture.

I can take more pics of the seal, but opening it would not make the computer brand new anymore.

I just started building my heatware under 'hansolo'.

I'm happy to field any more questions or concerns.

why do you have a sealed macbook, that you can't return and swap or buy the mac you want?

me personally, i'd rather you open it and let me see the macbook itself. obviously advice you can take or leave

Interested in a trade for anything? I have a Rev A MBP (1.83, Superdrive, 80gb) and a G5 Dual 2.0 tower. The MBP is out of warrenty, but has had a lot of parts replaced right before it expired in April, It's shows it's use (my primary computer) but I might be willing to throw a smidge of cash in if you wanted to trade for it. The G5 doesn't have a box or DVD's, Also have some Apple Studio Displays with a few flaws if interested.

If none of this interests you... ignore

You know, even if it's "opened", it can still be brand new if you haven't used it. I'd rather see the computer itself first, or at least a few pictures with a sign declaring its legitmacy.

You know, first off, I'm not interested in buying it, so maybe that's why I'm so neutra, but:

Wow, I'd have never expected to see people complaining that it's a SEALED box....

Yeah, could you rip it apart and take pics of the motherboard? I want to make sure it all checks out before I bid...

maybe it has something to do with the fact that the guy has less then 50 posts and nobody to vouch for him? not to mention nothing in the pics showing that he is the one who took them?

yeah, it is weird.

Hello all

I haven't been on these forums in awhile and I see my thread got pretty bashed. I understand people want to be cautious, but there's no reason to accuse.

I have done many deals on various Mac Forums, just fewer at MacNN.

I took some pics to ease any interested parties.

I'm located in Wisconsin, so if anyone is near Madison you are more than welcome to come check it out.

You still hoping to get $1,250 even though your Macbook is already a generation old?

I'm open to offers. I think it's fair considering it's brand new, but I could be off :/
