So I just sold my G3. The guy came to look at it with his girlfriend. The girlfriend was a mac user and the guy was a PC user. The reason for him buying my mac was given by his girlfriend:

"He's not moving into my house with that PC."

Ahhhh... Now that girlfriend is a keeper.

The important thing is that they are both Mac fans now. We can live with them or without them!

Heh, my ex had to smell my G3 when we first got together.

She claimed she has always wanted to smell what a G3 tower smells like.

What exactly did she expect it to smell like?

I have no idea.

Maybe she thought they smelled like cucumbers?

If she wasn't joking, that is such crap!!!

Had it been me, I'd have dumped her the second she starting demanding things like that - who knows what kind of a monster she'd turn into later on?

Imagine it was someone telling you that either the Mac goes or (s)he goes. Which one would go?

No, she wasn't joking.

He was like "I'm not getting rid of my pc YET".

Exactly!

I mean, if he wants to get rid of the PC and 'switch teams', then more power to him! I know the feeling, still being on Winblows!

But if he really (for some reason) loves his PC and hates Mac and is only doing it because the girlfriend is telling him to - then booh!

Personally, I do my work on my Mac, if that has to go, I have to go with it.
