Noise level comparison between Quicksilver and the newer Dual Gig.

Has anyone been able to compare the fan noise between the Quicksilver Daul Gig and the new Dual Gig's? I bought the newest MDD Dual One Gig to use in my project recording studio but the noise coming out of those things are just way too loud! So I was thinking of selling it and buying a used Quicksilver Dual Gig if it is much more quiet. I bought my tower just a couple of months with dual 17" Apple Studio Displays and loaded it with 1Gig of RAM. However, I think I have only been on this machine no more than a total of 5 hours because I can't stand the noise coming out of it. Needless to say I'm not too happy with Apple(though I still will never buy a PC).
If anyone is willing to trade then please contact me. In fact I'm even thinking of downgrading to a Cube and loading it with a Dual Gig card.

The Quicksilver is not even near as loud as the new MDD PowerMacs, although it is louder than the Cube.
You would have to listen to a Quicksilver before you can make a decision.
