what is the maximum size hard drive I could install in my DP 1GHz G4 that it will recognize? I remember reading somewhere that it would not recognize hard drives more than.....?

There's room for four, with a total recognized capacity of 720GB.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

That was the most Apple would ship them with (using 180GB drives). They now make 300GB models.

The MDD G4s do not have the 128GB limit that affects most other G3 and G4 models, so put in as big a drive as you wish.
