I also experienced this, but with the os x 10.0.0 version. I excecuted a prebind command, and I suspect this killed the PPTP. As I understand the 10.0.2 version executes this prebind funcion automatically after updating.. Not 100 % sure though.
When I use the software updater. It says it cann't connect to the internet. It just can't find my PTPP connection which is active already. Same for online helpfiles. How did u manage to get the software updater to work at all with PPTP-GUI 2.0?
Just when I was able to enjoy my MXtream ADSL connection in OS X by using PPTP-GUI 2.0, the latest update of X has killed it. When I click the connect button it starts but the disconnect button never becomes blue. Thus illustrating the NOT working connection.
