I just got this really cool optical trackball by M$ for OSX and for some reason the track ball itself does not work and this is after installing the drivers. All the buttons work fine but when I move the ball around the pointer does not respond.

I have a Tibook G4 and was wondering if I had to turn off the track pad built in to the keybord.

I call M$ support and the boob told me that they would have to get back with me another day!!

help please,
Giulio

You shouldn't have to turn off the trackpad. My Intellimouse Explorer trackball works fine on a TiBook/400. Did you try reinstalling the driver?

I returned the M$ mouse and got a wonderfull Logitech for under $30 that is optical. Pluged it in and it worked without loading drivers.
