Hallo,
I've got a PCI USB 2.0 card, which I like to slot in my G3- Powermac, on System 9.2.2 -
first time it didn't work ...

Actually I've got a USB1.0 Card working. Do I need a special USB-driver update or what is wrong with that card, that came in a bundle with a Freecom external CD-Drive, now plugged on USB1.
Who can help?
Thanks

OS 9 doesn't have built-in support for USB 2, so you would need a driver to get the card to function as a USB 2 card. One would think the card could run as a regular USB card, but if you're not having any luck then it probably won't work.

Most USB 2 cards work with Apple's standard USB PCI Card drivers, which are preinstalled on OS X, and an optional install (using the Mac OS installer) on 9.1 and later.

But on Mac OS 9, you will never get USB 2 speeds, only USB 1.1. To use USB 2 speeds, you must run Mac OS X.
