Yesterday I received an e-mail from a professor I do some work for. He is buying a new dual for his lab and wanted info re using his Wacom Intuos tablet with the new machine. He'd contacted Wacom directly and was told by their tech support "that Apple have decided not to support any Wacom product in OS releases after 9.1".
I pointed out to him that Apple has Wacom links on it's site and that from Wacom's site you can download OS X driver's for various tablets--besides, isn't it up to the manufacturerers of peripherals to support a platform who's users they expect to market to to support that platform, not the other way around. He was somewhat disconcerted as he'd been told "in person by someone who went into detail about why the falling out between Wacom and Apple had come about! It wasn't just a casual comment.
Something is not right here." What's up?
PS
I downloaded 10.2.5 yesterday afternoon and everything is running like a charm.
