With my internship I'm using my old iMac as a music player for our youth room (combined with an old Sony Stereo that I think I'll be locking down soon). As well I'll use my PowerBook with Keynote for Sunday morning worship lyrics, (sometimes) I'll be doing some video work in FCE, and I'll be doing some photoshop work with hand outs and what not, and I was using Pages to write up Bible Studies. As well as Mail to keep in touch with people. And iCal to track my hours. And iChat and Adium to talk with the PC using youth group kids.
Uhh... anything else.... oh I need to get a copy of Quickverse for OS X only I'm cheap/poor.

I drive one of these for a living.
I used to work for Apple, and CompUSA, and I just bought a new iBook, but it's just for pleasure.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

I guess I'm trying to say, I think you have a cool job.

How did you get to even qualify on those weapons, let alone qualify expert? My son's AFJROTC unit had tons of DEMILLED M1 rifles, but they never got near a live one. His rocketry team was the closest thing to a "weapon" they had. Is the Navy that much more friendly to their JROTC units?

By the way, for those of you not in the know, "JROTC" stands for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, it functions in thousands of high schools across the U.S., and all the U.S. Military branches have JROTC units. I wonder if the Coast Guard does...

I qualed on all those weapons during mini-boot camp...the M4A1, however, I qualified with on a trip to Coronado with my step-grandpa. His real grandson is a Special Boat Squad member.

The Coasties do have JROTC I believe.
