well 2

1) Working wit 4K video. The files I can eventually get into FCP but they play like crap. Jaggies, weird lines etc. The same footage looks spot on in iMovie11. Any ideas what's going on? I would expect FCP to handle 4K way better than iMovie.

2) Importing 4K files. I have a work around dragging the files from the sony hdcam sdcard to the desktop and then into FCP but i can't seem to get tcp to see the files from the card? Any ideas.

Running tcp pro x on a new MacPro with 64gb RAM, is, pretty slick!! apart from these glitches.
Any help?

Thanks

I'm not an expert on Final Cut X, but in Final Cut Pro you had to Render your clips to get a good preview.

AFAIK, iMovie cannot work with 4k directly and converts to proxy media.
