well lets see, i intstalled AIM for 68k, and after i restarted...i have to hold down the apple key if i want to close a window, drag something to the trash, open a folder, open apple menue, select any menu from the menu bar at top....ETC.

about the only thing i don't have to hold it down for is to click the title bar or the finder up in the right hand corner.

ive zapped PRAM and rebuild desktop.....any other ideas?

So what exactly is the problem? Has the mouse ceased to work at all? Can it click but not move? Or the reverse? If it's a bad mouse, you should be able to get an ADB mouse to replace it fairly cheap even now.
Is this a good place for an argument?
