There will be an Apple 30" Display coming very soon. According to my friend who work at an authorized Apple dealership.

Well then why isn't the display released (well, actually I should say announced) at the same time as the dual 2.5GHz PowerMac G5?

Umm... Apple NEVER releases information to resellers or dealers before they actually announce the product. Your friend might have seen current display arrivals stop, but anything else would be speculation.

I think that wouldn't be a good franchsie they should come out with a interactive display instead... wacom style!

Actually I posted a thread about this last year, a co-worker who is a developer was shown it in an early form, it was brushed metal.

you can have 2 windows open with a 20 inch
besides that image is stretched

yeah! 80 inch monitor with wacom like stuff and virtual 3D interface with motion sensor cams and ... well, I think that is all I need from now!
