I'm not kidding. Really, does this work for anyone.

Okay, I admit I'm on a G5 Powermac that's only 867Mhz with 1.5Gb of RAM but this widget is completely unusable.

All of the other widgets work fine as do most things in Tiger.

However, the iTunes widget is just so unresponsive that it can not be used. I click on a button and absolutely nothing happens. I'm not sure whether it is really, really slow or if it just doesn't work. I do know that it has absolutely no effect on the iTunes application that is running. It won't change tracks, fast forward or rewind. It won't play or pause or do anything else.

Again, all my other widgets work fine. Is this your experience???

Cheers,

Jordan

You mean G4 of course. It works fine for me, but to be honest I never used it until just now. I just don't think widgets are worth the RAM. That and my logitech keyboard has volume/play/stop buttons on it.

Works for me. Both on the G5 and PB.

It works, but it only displays 10 playlists. I have more than that in iTunes. Any ideas?

It works for me but it is by far the most unresponsive of the Apple widgets. On the order of click Play and wait 3 or 4 seconds before iTunes responds. It could certainly use a little optimization.

It works even on my old Pismo (400MHz G3). I do agree that it's totally unresponsive. There's no excuse for such a slow widget.
