I have a MKV file with embedded subtitles. VLC can play the file with subtitles but my Mac is apparently too slow (drops frames like crazy, basically watching a still image). However, MPlayer OS X (pre8 rc4) can play this file smoothly for whatever reason. The problem is there are no subtitles and no option anywhere in the GUI to enable them. Is there a way to do this...?
