Damn...

I'd been happily using postfix on panther because I've kept my old email address but moved to a new ISP. (my old one was in Japan - I still maintain an account with them but obviously don't have a connection)

Because most ISP's prevent you from sending through their mail server, I used Postfix Enabler to set up Postfix on my Mac and keep merrily mailing away, my friends oblivious to my change in ISP.

Now under Tiger, Postfix Enabler doesn't work and I can't for the life of me work out how to set it up manually. Anyone know of any other way to enable this or an idiots guide to setting up Postfix on Tiger.

Thanks...

there's a new version for Tiger that's shareware. I'm too cheap to buy it so I whipped something that might help.

Thanks Zoe77.

I had a bit of trouble getting your page up at first. Now have it.

I didn't realise that there was a Tiger version of Postfix Enabler as I paid for the first one seemed logical just to upgrade.

Also, my ISP blocks port 25 for most users to prevent spamming. Had to upgrade to a business account to get it unblocked.... Grrr...
