I just saw an ad on NBC for it.

The commercial had "eBay" in the corner, and the colors/type are similar to eBay's. So what is it? I guess we'll find out in 52 hours.

Reminds me all too much of the pre-Segway hype, everyone talking about "it" and how it would be some huge effing revolution. Hardly so exciting.

What a let down IT was. It was built up so nicely and then, bam! Stupid monster ruined it.

There's something of a precedent concerning artificially hyped launches like this: the products often flop. Or at least they don't do as well as expected.

Examples:
Segway (we were all kept guessing for half a year, remember?)
an AT&T cell phone service (started with an m, I think)
