10.6.6 degrades graphic abilities of first gen Macbooks. True? False?

Question for GMA950 Macbook owners: after upgrading to 10.6.6, did you see a slowdown and/or less graphic features? For example:
* Pictures screensavers become very choppy or refusing to work
* Translucent (blurring) objects rendered as dark-transparent (non-blurred)
* Expose and dashboard slower/choppier
* System Profiler does not specify that Quartz Extreme is enabled
* Some videos refuse to play, or appear black while sound plays on

How much RAM do you have? Maybe the OS is stealing more of it away from the GPU.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I've seen it happen several times where MacBooks with GMA graphics have problems keeping Quartz Extreme loaded. Usually a restart or simply logging out and then back in again gets it back up and running - for awhile.
If you have only experienced this after the 10.6.6 upgrade, then perhaps corrupted kexts could be the problem?

Downgrading from AppleIntelGMA950.kext v 1.6.24 to 1.6.0 solved my problem. Now I have QE back.

I've noticed chioppiness in YouTube videos and such in the last while. I blamed it on a new external monitor (on which I watch my videos) but now I'm thinking it might have been the OS upgrade.
How do I go about going that downgrade that someone previously mentioned?

where do i find that downgrade? twice, when on myspace in safari (yeah, i know, myspace sucks), my monitor had a breakdown, and locked up, flashing colors, stuttering (i swear, i didn't do anything). this is on a first-gen aluminum macbook.

I also have choppiness in YouTube that wasn't there before. I'd also like to know how this downgrade is done.
