In an effort to capture a larger share of the fast-growing mobile accessories market, LG will unveil the industry's first solid rollable wireless portable keyboard at the IFA 2015 trade show in Berlin, Germany. Unlike other portable keyboards on the market, the Rolly Keyboard folds up along the four rows to create a "stick" that fits into a pocket.
Featuring high-contrast keys and a fold-out mobile device stand, the Rolly Keyboard has a 17mm key pitch, nearly the same as the 18mm key pitch found on most desktop keyboards. Two arms fold out to support smartphones as well as tablets in an upright position. Unfolding the Rolly Keyboard enables the auto pairing function to connect to two different devices at the same time through Bluetooth 3.0 with the ability to toggle between the two with a key press. LG claims that a single AAA battery powers the keyboard for up to three months of average use.
The Rolly Keyboard will make its debut in September in the United States, followed by key markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia in the fourth quarter. Prices and details of availability will be announced locally at the time of launch. LG claims the Rolly Keyboard is the first in a series of "many premium input devices we'll be unveiling in the coming months as we expand our accessories offerings," according to LG Vice President Seo Young-jae.

Getting better, but still not what we need. What mobile users need is a on-the-go keyboard that's not a shrunken version of a regular keyboard. It's use clever touches like pressing on the side to get uppercase. Heck, it might even be two-sided with numbers and alternative characters on the back.

If it's made by LG, you shouldn't expect much in terms of quality.

I'm not sure what your problem with LG quality is Mr. Strat. LG is a major component supplier for Apple, supplying display panels for Apple MacBooks and is the sole display supplier for the OLED display in the Apple Watch. I've also had my hands on the LG Flex 2 recently and it is a very nicely made device, as is are its Android Wear smartwatches.
