Does anyone else find this: (my brother and I certainly do)

I have a PCMCIA card that is a Compact Flash Adapter.

Usually this excellent bit of kit works well - and my digital film can be slung into the side of my powerbook etc..

however - recently (since 10.2.4 maybe) plugging-in a CFCard will sometimes (not always) cause my mac to Kernel Panic.

Does anyone else find this?

yes, i've been getting panics consistently when inserting a pc card.
i recently upgraded from 10.2.3 to 10.2.5 and 10.2.6 today.

still panicking under 10.2.6

im seriously disturbed, i use my microdrive all the time and the last panic wiped my mial.app clean (i had to re-import all of my mailboxes)

I get KPs using my Compact Flash PCMCIA adapter, too. And a friend of mine with a Memory Stick PCMCIA adapter has the same thing. (Same with 10.2.4, .5, .6.)

The SanDisk ImageMate 6-in-1 that I use on my desktop (the reader is USB 2.0 capable, but my Mac is USB 1.1) sometimes gets weirded out, too... I guess OS X's flash media access is generally just... bad!

10.2.6 has fixed my CF adpater woes - I suppose it was a 10.2.5 thing.
