A friend has a PS II that he wants to use as a wordprocessor but it bombs whenever he starts it up.
Anybody got any idea what OS it uses and where I can download him a start-up disk ?? (or another OS )

Do you mean a Mac IIsi? I don't recall a PS II ....

You could try zapping your PRAM: Command (Apple), Option, P, R (hold them on startup until you hear the chime, then release.
