I've always had a soft spot for the V6 RAV4. I think it's pretty underrated.

I was looking for the link, but I saw a story the Consumer Reports site which had a chart showing that the small turbo 4 cylinders used by Ford, GM, and others in their small SUV models do not result in better real world mileage vs the 6 in the RAV4. If I can find the story again, I will post it.

Anecdotally, my non-EB Edge gets right at EPA numbers, and not a hair over. 19 for city, 26 for highway. With other cars, if I take it really easy I can easily beat the EPA highway number by a few MPG but not in the Edge.

Ford will have a 4cyl Ecoboost Mustang in 2015 making over 300hp.
That should be interesting

Here's hoping they call it the SVO.

I'm interested to see how they position it. The 3.7 is a fine engine and I'd hate to see it ditched in favor of a more complicated setup. But if they keep the NA V6 and add a turbo four, it will almost surely be positioned as a +$1000 option with better gas mileage, which doesn't make sense. People that want a real Mustang get the GT. People that want the idea of a Mustang but are poor or cheap get the V6. The V6 Mustang already pulls 31mpg highway. The 2.0 Ecoboost option is only a 50 lb. weight savings in the Edge, and the best the 2.0 does so far is 33 hwy in the Fusion and 32 hwy in the Taurus/Focus.
Either way I'm interested to see what happens and if they finally break down and use an IRS.

Recently got a '13 WRX. Gotta say, I have been pleasantly surprised by this thing. The turbo lag takes a little getting used to, but even then, it's a lotta fun. Works well as a daily/wanna-be-truck/fun car.

Blasted, rust neutralizer, POR15, then installed new Bilstein Sport Inverted Dampers
White enamel + hot pink laquer on Apikol Short Shifter
Drilling out new holes to repress in the studs, called Igor Camber Plate mod. Reduces camber from lowering car, I'm about 2.5" lower than stock so I'mg etting some inner tire wear. This should solve that.
TADAH!
New strut mounts too.

IDK. It'll be under the car, so I just thought it'd be fun. I did this last week:
That was the shift coupler on the 911. The bushings were flat out gone. Same part, just blasted it with some glass media and reassembled with fresh bushings.
