Alright, I'm looking for a 20 gig mp3 player that I can use as an external hard drive and will work under OS X. I do not, repeat, do not have enough money for an iPod. I've been looking at either the Archos Recorder 20 or the Nomad Jukebox 20. I know the Nomad works well with OS X but I would prefer somthing with more battery power, features, etc. I can't seem to find any conclusive information on the Archos, some people say it works on X, some say it doesn't. So if anybody could help me out with this dillema I would be greatly appreciative.

I'm sorry, I realize this wasn't of any help to you.

If you can honestly not save the extra money and can put up with transfering 20 gigs over USB, then go ahead.

but you will hear only this from me:
"YOU'RE CRAZY YOU SONOFA.."

Get a great girlfriend who buys you an iPod, that's what I did :oD
