Hello all,

Can anyone recommend something for the 15 Al screen? I think I am getting oil spots from the keyboard to the screen. At first I thought I was getting the dreeded white spots, but I think is oil.

Thanks

I use Radtech's, though there are plenty of choices.

Do the keys on the keyboard actually come in contact with the screen when the lid is closed? I thought I remember reading some post that ppl noticed that their screens were gerting scratched by the ksys? How much of a scratch can this really cause? I don't have a screen protector but I'm still slipping the originally packaging sheet between the screen and keyboard (as it's just a week old and I'm still babying it). I'm thinking of tossing out the sheet but if ppl reckon the keys actually touch/scratch the screen, I might get one of those screen protectors too.

I've been using my Powerbook 12 inch for almost 6 months now and I think the keys don't scracth as much as it leaves residue(oily fingers after KFC session maybe) on the screen.

NOpe, so far no scrathes on my 12 incher.

I've got a great screen protector from ACME MADE. It's suede and works nicely, even looks nice. You should try them out.

The best (and by far the cheapest) protector sits in your printer.... a single sheet of paper. Sure it's not as stylish as some of the leather protectors - but you are saving some $$$ for other things.

Paper works, but replace it before it starts looking like a piece of oilcloth.

I use RadTech's (yes, it fits the AlBoook). Nice, but pricey.

Does the McAlly screen protector stay on the screen during use? or is it just something you lay on the keyboard when closing it? it looks like it sticks to the monitor?

also, did the radtech cloth go up in price? I have one, and i'm trying to buy another one for my brother, but it's $20 total. Wow!? :X

I've also got a Radtech screen protector, they're really good. Worth every penny if you ask me.
