It only shows 2 MB of L2 cache. I thought all Core 2 Duo's at 2.0 GHz and above had 4 MB L2?

It is NOT a Core 2 Duo MacBook. Read the specs and description:

Processor: Intel Core Duo 2 GHz
Powered by the Intel Core Duo, built from ultratough polycarbonate, just 1.08 inches thin - MacBook combines performance and portability like never before.

Built upon the revolutionary Intel Core Duo - with two processor cores on a single chip - MacBook leaves other consumer notebooks in the dust. It performs up to five times faster than the previous generation iBook without compromising on size or style.
I wish the MacNN writers would read things before they make a headline out of them. Last I checked, this was not a rumor site.

Hmmm......

I'd say it was a typo. This happened on MacNN not to long ago. They had a Ramjet ram ad for "PowerBook G5s"!

But the Apple Store being down is strange because Apple releases products on Tuesdays.

We'll see! "Babe needs a new pair of MacBooks!!"

EDIT: Congrats Tuoder on your 1,000 post!!

I think that is very weird that someone released info ahead of an announcement like that. I think someone is going to get an angry email.

Not like it was all correct anyway. It had the wrong L2 cache, hard drive and optical drive information listed anyway.
