I agree, I think it was in too. However, it looked like he kicked it in so it may not have counted anyway. I was watching the game at a party without the sound on so I don't know if this was discussed on the broadcast or not.

Heh, I predicted during the semis that if Tampa and Calgary played the final, it would go to 7 games.

game 6 def not a goal didn't go all the way over with the camera angle it looks like it did but thats an optical illusion, plus then you had 3 more periods to win.

someone seriously needs to tell the Calgary D to SHOOT. NOT JUST STAND AROUND THE BLUELINE LIKE FOOLS AND WEAKLY WRIST IT INTO THE CORNERS. You can't score without shooting

I'm not going to watch the trophy presentation but the Conn Smythe should NO DOUBT goto Khabbi. without him, they would have lost all the games in this series.

Oh yeah, for sure. They played with the most passion I have ever seen. With the exception of the first half game 7 of this series, they fought for every single puck in the corners and really battled. I knew Iginla was special after how he stepped up in the the Gold Medal game (in fact, I think I'll go watch that DVD to make me happy for the shortterm) but he really put the team on his shoulders and carried them. Kipper was outstanding. Couldn't ask for anything more from him. Hopefully he won't fade out like Jiggy did after last years finals.
I still think a huge key to this game was the hesitance of the Calgary D to fire a shot on net. They stood around the blueline like a bunch of ****ing fools and just dumped it into the corner instead of shooting it on net.
I really hope there is a season next year and that Lalime decides not to suck a nut.

it was great to see dave andreychuk finally hoist the cup - reminded me a lot of a few years ago when ray bourque finally got his chance.

For sure! Glad to see a vet like Andreychuck get his due, even if it was for the wrong team

Well crap. Calgary wasn't as sharp as in prior games, and once again the power play won the game for Tampa. The playoffs were at least exciting!
Congrats to Tampa, even if they didn't have the equivelant to flamesgirls. . Now I can focus my energy on a more local sport. Go Astros!
