I am a graphic designer and have been using linotype fontexplorer in tiger, but was wondering if fontbook has been improved and stablized in leopard to use professionaly at work?

i hope so, i really want to give fontbook a try, i know it wasn't that great in tiger. Has anyone here used it extensively yet?

Not extensively at all, but I've imported a few hundred fonts into FontBook, and so far am less than thrilled with the result: http://forums.macnn.com/90/mac-os-x/...4/#post3524501.

Also, FB is really slow when I open it; rebooting into Tiger and opening FontAgent Pro is a real shocker in comparison.

I don't see why Apple refuses to buy one of the decent utilities and make it the new Fontbook.
