I have all my contacts in both my Address Book and Microsoft Entourage at my home. I need to transfer my contacts into Microsoft Outlook at work, but i'm not sure how to do it.

Using Address Book, i saved my contacts as a Vcard, but Outlook only recognized the 'single' contact

In Entourage, i exported as a .txt, but Outlook can't open it.

What must i do?
what am i doing wrong?

There are several scripts out there that should do the trick for you.
Here is a site that might help with that:

http://macscripter.net/

There should be one in this vast list somewhere.
Hope that helps

I cannot believe copying Address Data from the Mac to the PC is so difficult. Last night I exported all my contact from my Address Book into one vCard file. Bough it into work this morning...

Outlook cannot import anything other than one file per contact. (Manually placing returns after each card doesnt help.)

Windows Address Book can sort of import muliple contacts per vCard but has a habit of falling over on something (no time to analyse what).

Thunderbird completely fails to read the vCard file with multiple contacts.

Is there anything I can do from the PC? Having browsed around I have found a few Mac solutions to export one file per contact (this should enable me to import into Outlook fingers crossed) but I would like to do it today. THoughts?

vCards are supposed to be a standard so why does every application completeley differ in implementation? Is Address Book breaking the std by placing more than once contact in each file?

Use entourage at hopme to export the contacts as a PST file.

Outlook on the PC at work will be able to read this, via import from a file.

Hope this helps.
