Can I use PC2700 DDR ram in my 12" 1.2GHz iBook. I know that the RAM clocks down in computers and wasn't sure if it would handle the same in a notebook. The reason I am asking is that Circuit City has a 512 PC2700 for $75 after rebate.
Thanks!

Are you sure it worked? I have the same iBook and want to know that it'll work. 75 is a great price! Thanks for the help. Let me know if there are any issues...

Yeah, it seems to be working great. I played some UT2004 and ran a few tracks through garage band and iMovie. There was a little slowdown but on the whole things ran relatively well.

A little slowdown? You must mean the applications weren't running perfectly, because upgrading your RAM should not make anything slower than it was before the upgrade. If it does, there's probably something wrong.
