Am I the only one who thinks this solution beats any virtualization/dualboot/etc. option hands down? We all dislike Win apps, but every once in a while there's one that's necessary (MS Project anyone?).

I actually purchased Parallels and it's a great piece of software... but the overhead of running a full other OS is too great for my MBP 2.16GHz. Crossover Mac runs smooth as silk with no more overhead than a regular Universal app (ok, maybe a little, plus the occasional beta-related quirk).

Way to go Codeweavers!

I'm running a few key apps under the beta right now and find it more than adequate (and I am a registered Parallels user as well).

I'm using (without major issues):
- IE6 (don't ask)
- MS Office 2003
- MS Project 2000

CorelDraw wouldn't install.

I am a paid used of Parallels as well, but CrossoverMac is great (and less resource hungry) for most uses.

Not to derail, but have you tried Merlin?
