The wireless Apple mice have always been too heavy for me because of the twin AAs inside. The new Magic Mouse also uses AAs, but overall is it heavier or lighter than the old one? Anyone know?

FWIW, the older Mighty Mice operate just fine with a single AA battery.

I guess I'll just have to try one and see. The shape looks rather strange for a mouse too. We'll see…

I've tried one today, the weight felt perfectly. Scrolling works amazingly well. However, I find it a tad small.

I'm waiting for it to come to my nearby store so that I can use it before buying. After buying the mighty mouse and being very unhappy with the way it right-clicks (clumsy, inconsistent, often get a left-click), I'm committed to trying this one out in the store.
