I hope that everyone on the ski field got out of the way ok. We have had a lot of snow recently, most recently this morning. I always thought avalanches would be noisy, but this was not the case here.

Theres good news, luckily most people were able to get out of the way and those that did get in the way were only buried up to their waists and could get themselves out.

The avalanche was started by ski field staff using an avalanche bomb to reduce the risk of an avalanche!
