Other than the extra TB, is there anything else that makes the 3TB model worth an extra $100?

Thanks, I see the Australian Apple store is offering a BF $50 gift card with the 2TB TC but not the 3TB. If the US store does the same, I'll likely just go with the 2TB, the extra capacity doesn't seem worth $150 more...

Since you can get an external 3TB drive for about $100 (a Seagate Backup Plus 3TB at BestBuy, for example), I agree that the upgrade to the 3TB Time Capsule over the 2TB model isn't worth it.
In fact, you could use the Time Capsule's hard drive sharing to hook up that Seagate drive for a total of 5TB backup space (for the price of the 3TB Time Capsule) and pocket the $50 rebate.
