Hey.
I came across two PowerBook 180c's today and snatched them up.
Check out the EveryMac link.
They both are complete, intact systems with adapters and batteries. Undercarraiges are blue: this may or may not be case modification. They also come with an external CD drive (upon request.)
A few notes:
Top cases have a few stickers (easily removable) and the name of a local elementary school written in marker upon them (not so easy to remove.)
One of the computers may not be able to display with the bottom 1/3 of the screen: when it boots, the entire screen is visible, then only the top 2/3 are visible in the Happy Mac screen.
They will not boot with batteries installed. I do not think the batteries (with are 3rd party) work at all.
One of the power adapters is a "Low-power adapter" and will not sustain the computers.
One of the computers will show the flashing "where's my OS?" folder icon, the other will boot to "Welcome to Macintosh," then stall at that screen (it will simpky stop processing and continue displaying that screen.
One of them doesn't have a panel over the power button and ports.
In summary: these are really cool PowerBooks of classic vintage: they are older than most wines that you'll find in a store. Besides the stickers and ink, they are in fine condition. A worthy buy for any lover of vintage Macs. Feel free to request pictures.
