All men are created equal, but what they do after that point puts them on a sliding scale.

Well that's a relief.
The "French" rioters were stone cold sober.

Seems to be what happens when you allow too many immigrants of a single ethnic group into a region. Instead of assimilating somewhat, they band together and remain separate. It will be interesting in the years ahead to see how many European countries adjust to islamic culture and law.

Nonsense, they certainly assimilate, but retain large amounts of their original identity and national/heritage pride.
Canada has been one of the world's leading proponents of this idea since the 1970s; it almost entirely stems from our larger cities (Prarie groups notwithstanding) but it's quite remarkable to see.

Every 100 years or so there comes up a new need for ethnic cleansing in Europe.

Oh yeah, they're all assimilating in Canada just fine.

Exactly. That was 2 years ago, and it was about as much of a controversy in the rest of the country as a drop in a bucket. I didn't even hear about it in Edmonton at the time.
You made my point. Assimilation, but retaining strong regional, national, and cultural pride. Your article seemed to be a textbook example of that.

I think he's trying to say "teh Muslims are actually biding their time until they can suddenly rise up and forcibly institute Sharia law in Canada and then take over the country with terrorism."
I'm sure mckenna rejected what he was trying to say, on grounds of complete lunacy.
