Dunno what it could be. It is utterly unprecedented for the forums to have trouble right after a keynote.

I guess the hamster is still strolling around at the MWSF 06.

But seriously, it's not like double the people are online, or huge data amounts being streamed.

WTF ?

It's in the middle of the freakin' night, and still the server is slow as molasses.
You really can't blame it on traffic.

Maybe we can have a new theme around here. I propose the db error theme. I'm also getting server closed the connection errors using opera.

Well it maybe the middle of night where your located, but many other loyal mac fans live around the world and access this site also. So while you assume all is quiet in your neck of the woods, it is still painfully slow where I live. Yes I still have to wait, watch the keynote, post my thoughts the same as everyone else, just in a different time zone.

Relax - have a coffee, the forum will return to regular programming soon enough. Remember the guys at MacNN provide us this medium for FREE - and we still bitch about it?

They're still really really really slow. Like slower than Athen's spelling abilities.

Getting lots of "database error" messages today. Really bad.

I know. In a way, there's no need to tell us -- we access the forums the same way you do (there's no "priority" server or anything for us), so if you are getting errors, we are getting errors. The problem is that the people who maintain the servers don't use the forums... :sigh:

how about giving us the email address to those that run the servers so we can spam the **** out of them when things dont work right.
