This the bizarre success of Trumps 'strategy'. People get on his case for having a cold rather than real issues.

On the flip side this guy is so insecure he won't admit to having allergies or use them as an excuse to cover up something worse.

my point, and perhaps I missed my <sarcasm> tag, is that they are not really on his case at all. A quick joke and on to the next thing...

All it took for Trump to take a shot at Clintons pneumonia is for the media to notice he has a case of the sniffles.

Naturally Trump's unabashed mendacity doesn't matter one bit to his core supporters. But for everyone else this is pretty devastating. He tee'd all this up for the Clinton Campaign during the first debate.

Yet another editorial board sounding the alarm on this dude.

The Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. We're doing it now.

In the 34-year history of USA TODAY, the Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. Instead, we’ve expressed opinions about the major issues and haven’t presumed to tell our readers, who have a variety of priorities and values, which choice is best for them. Because every presidential race is different, we revisit our no-endorsement policy every four years. We’ve never seen reason to alter our approach. Until now.

This year, the choice isn’t between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences. This year, one of the candidates — Republican nominee Donald Trump — is, by unanimous consensus of the Editorial Board, unfit for the presidency.

From the day he declared his candidacy 15 months ago through this week’s first presidential debate, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents.
USA TODAY's Editorial Board: Trump is 'unfit for the presidency'

Read the entire article for more details on why they've taken this position. I wonder if there has ever been a nominee of a major political party declared to be "unfit for the presidency" as far and wide as Donald Trump?

Today in "Why am I destined to hate Mike Pence's guts?"
https://www.buzzfeed.com/mikehayes/m...q4#.qaoQ1LzJM1
After serving 10 years of a 40 year prison sentence for an Indiana armed robbery and attempted murder, Keith Cooper was freed when eyewitnesses recanted their testimony against him, new DNA evidence showed he wasn’t at the scene of the crime, and a jailhouse informant admitted that he lied to investigators.

Five years later, Cooper filed a pardon petition that, if it were granted, would make him the first person in the state’s history granted clemency based on a finding of innocence. When his request was presented to the parole board, they found unanimously that he should be pardoned and have the two serious felony charges wiped from his record.

Now, after waiting for more than two years for Governor Mike Pence to act on the board’s decision, Cooper has learned that the GOP vice presidential candidate won’t — unless Cooper can prove to the governor’s administration that all other judicial remedies have been exhausted.
Ahearn wrote that this decision not to act on Cooper’s pardon request was “out of respect for the judicial process.”

This dude ...

Donald Trump, always at least knee deep in the fever swamps, is now drowning in them.

Still reeling from Monday's widely panned debate performance, the Republican nominee has found refuge in a fringe media environment where his victory is assured, his setbacks are the result of shadowy plots, and his critics are humiliated by sordid revelations.

On Friday, he let loose with an early morning Twitter outburst against former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, escalating a feud with her that began at the debate over his past criticism of her weight — criticism he repeated on Tuesday and Wednesday.

"Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?" Trump tweeted.

Machado responded on social media herself, accusing Trump of "trying to revive defamation and false accusations about my life" and adding that she became a citizen "because my daughter was born here and I wanted to exercise all my rights, among them, voting."

Set aside for a moment the politics of a candidate already losing women and Latino voters by large margins then smearing a Venezuela-born actress over her sexual ethics and questioning her citizenship. (Yes, that again.) Set aside the hypocrisy of Trump — who once called venereal disease "my personal Vietnam" and has a long history of crude rhetoric and adulterous behavior — questioning Machado's personal life. Even set aside the questions Trump's behavior raises about his impulse control, which has become a central line of attack for his opponent Hillary Clinton.

Instead, let's consider the voices to which Trump is listening.

The alleged Machado "sex tape" Trump cited appeared to be a hoax widely promoted in fringe pro-Trump outlets like Infowars. Other sites like Drudge Report have spread grainy stills of a love scene from a reality show Machado starred in. Radio host Rush Limbaugh called Machado "the porn-star Miss Piggy" this week. And Trump, desperate for encouragement after his debate, is huffing these sycophantic fumes like never before.

This is nothing new. Trump has a long history of championing conspiracy theories that target his opponents and turning to wacky supportive sources to confirm them — from birtherism to falsely tying Sen. Ted Cruz's family to the JFK assassination.

Since the debate, though, his tendency to cocoon himself in an alternate reality of fawning commentary has both worsened and infected the rest of his campaign, creating a political crisis less than two weeks from the second presidential debate.

In recent days, Trump has accused plotters of rigging his microphone to undermine his debate performance. He's accused Google of "suppressing the bad news about Hillary Clinton," a debunked story that originated on a Russian propaganda site. And he's obsessively pushed non-scientific fan surveys at sites like Breitbart to prove he won the debate, which his campaign insists are more reliable than rigorously conducted polls showing he lost the debate by a wide margin.

At the same time, Trump stopped doing press conferences two months ago and has largely confined himself to interviews with friendly conservative outlets, which further insulates from outside views. Even then, he seems unable to help himself: His post-debate rants about Machado's weight this week came during easygoing interviews with Fox News hosts.

Meanwhile, campaign aides are left gently pleading with Trump via the press to come in from the cold and begin to acknowledge the damage he's done.

Dr. Ben Carson, a prominent supporter, told MSNBC on Friday Trump was following Clinton down a "rat hole" by attacking Machado over and over again.

"You know it's going to be so much better when he begins to focus on the real issues," he said.

Campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told the hosts of The View on Thursday that she had reprimanded Trump for his language toward women even as she defended his behavior toward Machado. Campaign sources complained to NBC News this week that Trump did not adequately prepare for the first debate and suffered a "disaster" as a result.

Trump, well aware of the campaign within his campaign to force him back to a more conventional message, lashed out against the press on Friday.

"Remember, don't believe 'sources said' by the VERY dishonest media," he tweeted. "If they don't name the sources, the sources don't exist."

There's no small amount of irony here. As mentioned earlier, Trump regularly makes outlandish claims based on unnamed or nonexistent citations — whether it's the "extremely credible source" who told him Obama's birth certificate was forged, or his false claim that TV footage exists showing "thousands and thousands" of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating the 9/11 terror attacks. He even defended tweeting fake crime statistics spread by white supremacists to smear blacks, telling Fox's Bill O'Reilly the source — Twitter user @SeanSean252 — was "supposedly an expert."

In the meantime, while Trump listens to fans tell him his misogynist attacks on Machado are on the verge of breaking through and winning him the election, the Clinton campaign seems all too eager to continue the conversation.

"What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?" Clinton tweeted on Friday.

Fact Check: Five Things to Know About Alicia Machado - Breitbart

Fact Check: Five Things to Know About Alicia Machado

by JOEL B. POLLAK
30 Sep 2016
In the late 1990s, as President Bill Clinton was about to face the biggest sex scandal of his political career over his affair with Monica Lewinsky, a beauty queen named Alicia Machado caused a major scandal by gaining a large amount of weight after winning the Miss Universe crown.
Donald Trump had just taken over the pageant, and fought to deal with the fallout

Hillary Clinton has, for months, planned to use that episode against him, training Machado for the attack. Here are the facts.

1. Trump fought to save Machado’s Miss Universe title, and her job. What is a sensitive feminist male boss supposed to do if a female employee — hired, again, for her appearance — gains a large amount of weight? He is supposed to defend her job. And that is exactly what Trump did, urging the pageant not to fire her, and appearing with her at a gym to offer support. In an excerpt from his book The Art of the Comeback, Rush Limbaugh noted Thursday, Trump recalled the episode:

“First, she wins. Second, she gains fifty pounds. Third, I urged the committee not to fire her. Fourth, I go to the gym with her in a show of support. Final act: She trashes me in the Washington Post — after I stood by her the entire time. What’s wrong with this picture? Anyway, the best part about the evening was the knowledge that next year she would no longer be Miss Universe. What’s maddening is that I supported her.

“Even in Palm Beach, where I haven’t always gotten the greatest press, Shannon Donnelly, society columnist for the Palm Beach Daily News,” known here as the Shiny Sheet, “wrote, ‘Here’s a new one for the Donald: Protector-Advocate for large women. His acquisition from ITT has put Alicia Machado under the Trump Aegis. The Donald, bless his heart, doesn’t want to fire her because “it would be a terrible message to send.” He is instead bringing her to the spa at Mar-a-Lago where she can work out in earnest, eat sensibly and generally decompress.’ That sounds pretty gentlike to me.”

2. A Venezuelan judge accused Machado of threatening to kill him. From a 1998 news report: “Machado, who grabbed world headlines for nearly losing her crown after a sudden weight gain, burst back into the limelight last month when lawyers named her as the getaway driver for her boyfriend in a shooting last November … [Judge Maximiliano] Fuenmayor, who reported the alleged threats to police, said he traced the caller through an incoming call identity function on his mobile telephone.” The New York Post repored at the time that Machado “was seen driving the car in which her boyfriend, Juan Rodriguez Reggeti, sped away after shooting his brother-in-law in the head in Caracas on Nov. 21,” citing the victim’s family’s lawyer. (He survived.) Machado denied the charges, which were later dropped for lack of sufficient evidence.

3. Machado damaged her own reputation by having sex live on television. In 2005, Machado appeared on The Farm, a Spanish-language version of the Big Brother program. She had sex with the host of the show, even though she was engaged to Major League Baseball player Bobby Abreu of the Philadelphia Phillies at the time. Abreu called off the wedding after the humiliating episode aired on TV. Machado wrote of her new lover, according to the Sun: “He treats me like a goddess, he f***s me like a b****!” In 2006, she became the first Miss Universe to pose nude for Playboy, appearing in Playboy Mexico.

4. The Clinton campaign has been coaching Machado for months to attack Trump. From the Washington Post:

Operatives in Brooklyn had been working with Machado since the summer. They had a video featuring her story ready to go. Cosmopolitan had a photo spread of her draped in an American flag – to go with a profile – in the can. Machado had also conducted an interview with The Guardian that was “apparently embargoed for post-debate release,” according to Vox. And the Clinton super PAC Priorities USA turned a digital ad to highlight the insults by early afternoon.

5. Machado did, in fact, gain weight during her reign as Miss Universe. The Economist reported that she put on “15 kilos within weeks of winning her title.” Other newspapers called her “The Incredible Bulk.” What was at issue was not her weight or appearance, but that she had just won a competition in which she voluntarily submitted herself to be judged for both — against hundreds of other contestants who would have taken her place. The Orlando Sentinel wrote: “No one, of course, raised an eyebrow when Machado basically starved herself before the competition. But when she gained anywhere from a reported 22 to 50 pounds afterward, she caused quite the international stir.” Trump denies calling her “Miss Piggy” or “Miss Housekeeping,” as Machado now claims (though he is on record at the time having called her an “eating machine”). Machado told the Miami Herald that before the beauty pageant, “I was anorexic and bulimic, but almost all of us are.”

This guy is so impulsive with his 3AM tweets that it doesn't even occur to him how he sets himself up for articles like this.

In an early morning tweet storm, Donald Trump lashed out at former Miss Universe Alicia Machado Friday, calling her “disgusting” for allegedly appearing in a sex tape.

Machado has starred in risqué reality TV programs and posed nude for the Mexican version of Playboy magazine, the Daily Beast and other outlets that investigated the claim found no evidence that she has starred in any pornographic films and that the clips posted online actually feature another woman.

But Trump’s views on sex tapes seem to be continually evolving, because in his long history in public life, he has taken a variety of stands on such tapes — and on how the women in them should be regarded.

One pattern does emerge: If the woman is a friend, he considers the tape a non-issue at worst. If it’s someone he’s feuding with, then he thinks she has some explaining to do.

(A Trump campaign spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment.)

Here are 6 public statements Trump has made about sex tapes.

1. In a 2003 interview with Howard Stern, Trump praised Paris Hilton and said her “probably unfortunate” online sex tape likely helped her career.

TRUMP: “I've known Paris Hilton from the time she's 12.”

STERN: “She's hot.”
TRUMP: “Her parents are friends of mine and the first time I saw her she walked into a room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’”
STERN: “Did you want to bang her?”
TRUMP: “She's a very ... Well, at 12 I wasn't interested. I've never been into that. They've sort of always stuck around that 25 category.”

STERN: “Have you seen the video, the sex video?”
TRUMP: “I have seen it.”
STERN: “You did? What did you do? You went on the Internet?”
TRUMP: “No, it was just on the Internet.”
STERN: “How did you see that? What did you do?”
TRUMP: “Melania showed it to me.”
STERN: “What did you think of that? Did you see ...”
TRUMP: “I think it's probably unfortunate and perhaps it made ... What is that noise?”
STERN: “That's the tape.”
TRUMP: “All right. I think it's probably unfortunate and it made Paris hotter in terms of the world because the world is so screwed up. I mean, you think a thing like that is going to destroy, like Hugh Grant who I love. I think he's great. He's a member of my golf club. You would have think he would have been destroyed by what happened to him and he's the biggest star now than he ever was, so you never know what happens but I think it probably made Paris even better.

2. In 2004, according to an Associated Press article, Trump pitched Hilton to host the Miss USA Pageant and her sex tape didn’t “bother” him.

Trump told Us Weekly magazine he got the idea while Hilton's parents, Kathy and Rick, were visiting him at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla. And he said Hilton's infamous Internet sex tape doesn't bother him. "I've known Paris since she was a little girl," Trump said. "She's a fine girl ... I think she will give the pageant its highest TV ratings."

3. In a 2005 interview with Vanity Fair, Trump said the sex tape made Hilton “hotter.”

“I hate what happened with that sex tape, but it only made her hotter,” Trump told Vanity Fair in October 2005.

4. In 2009, Trump called on Miss USA runner-up Carrie Prejean to release a sex tape she made at age 17.

Prejean, dueling with Trump over her dismissal as Miss USA, had criticized Trump in a book for allegedly sorting contestants in his pageants by how sexually attracted he was to them. She had also recently said she filmed an erotic video for her boyfriend when she was 17, calling it her “biggest mistake.”

In response, Trump told the television show Extra: “She's trying to act like she's a nun... so maybe she should release the sex tape and people would see whether or not she is a nun."

5. Days later, Trump again called on Prejean to release the underage sex tape on CNN.

“As far as the sex tape, I guess Carrie was the one that told people about the sex tape. She openly admits there is a sex tape. Maybe she should reveal the sex tape to see whether or not it’s horrendous or whatever.” [Showbiz Tonight, 11/12/09]

6. Early Friday morning, Trump tweeted that Machado is “disgusting” and encouraged the public to “check out [her] sex tape and past.”

“Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?”

The language editorial boards are using around the country is unprecedented in the modern presidential election era.

IF YOU know that Donald Trump is ignorant, unprepared and bigoted, but are thinking of voting for him anyway because you doubt he could do much harm — this editorial is for you.

Your support of the Republican presidential nominee may be motivated by dislike of the Democratic alternative, disgust with the Washington establishment or a desire to send a message in favor of change. You may not approve of everything Mr. Trump has had to say about nuclear weapons, torture or mass deportations, but you doubt he could implement anything too radical. Congress, the courts, the Constitution — these would keep Mr. Trump in check, you think.

Well, think again.
A President Trump could, unilaterally, change this country to its core. By remaking U.S. relations with other nations, he could fundamentally reshape the world, too.

Of course, in many areas Mr. Trump would not have to act unilaterally. If he won, chances are Republicans would maintain control of Congress. GOP majorities there would be enthusiastic participants in much of what Mr. Trump would like to do: gutting environmental and workplace regulations, slashing taxes so that the debt skyrockets, appointing Supreme Court justices who oppose a woman’s right to have an abortion. In areas where Republican officeholders such as House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (Wis.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) imagine themselves acting as a brake on Mr. Trump’s worst instincts, skepticism is in order. If these supposed leaders are too craven to oppose Mr. Trump as a candidate, knowing the danger he presents, why should we expect them to stand up to the bully once he was fully empowered?

I do like the fact we're finally not so prudish anymore, as if a person running for president needs to constantly project that they're a saint. I'm not seeing what's supposedly so damning about those comments. I've seen the Paris sex tape, probably half the people who have been on the internet have, so what?

Would you watch a sex tape of your friend's daughter though? A girl you knew personally since she was 12?

What would you think if one of your friends who knew your daughter from a young age watched a sex tape of her later on?

I feel like there is a bit of an ick factor here.

The reason hypocrisy scandals don't stick to trump is that his entire public record is under the category he can declare as "salesmanship." Most politicians have been in politics, where they're expected not to lie. But a commerce-background candidate can just say he was embellishing back then as part of the art of the steal. He can dismiss any past statement as a strategy to sell merch rather than his core belief. Even if the strategy ultimately failed he can just say you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs. He won't go down by character flaws (even though that's his biggest actual flaw).

The uncomfortable truth about Christian support for Trump

- For eight long years, traditional Christians have fought with the Obama Administration as he tried to force Christian business-owners to pay for birth control and abortifacients, decreed that all schools had to bend to the knee to the brand-new transgender ideology or lose their funding, and began speaking of “freedom of worship” rather than “religious liberty.” For four long years, Christians waited for the opportunity to nominate someone who would defend their interests in Washington, D.C. And then, it all came crashing down with the nomination of the once and future New York liberal Donald J. Trump, one of the Sexual Revolution’s most ardent practitioners.

Some Christians, of course, voted for him, often out of fear and anger. They were angry, and Trump was angry, too. They liked that. Others wanted a strongman in Washington standing up for their interests, and took the slick real estate magnate seriously when he promised that he’d fight for them. Some Republican candidates talked like pastors, but Trump talked like a gladiator just as many voters were sick and tired of being pushed around. When he called the media “vultures” and “scavengers” and “really dishonest people,” those who had been called “homophobic” and “bigoted” and “stupid” and “hateful” for years by the media rejoiced in the catharsis. Donald Trump was finally a candidate who would smash political correctness right in the face.

There are just a few problems. Donald J. Trump was pro-abortion up until birth until a very short time ago, and was so unfamiliar with the basic positions held by the pro-life movement that he suggested women be punished for having abortions. He’s on his third marriage, having cheated on his previous two wives and acting with extraordinary cruelty during the divorce proceedings. He talks about women in ways that no Christian can accept. He’s the first major presidential candidate to own strip clubs. He has a framed copy of Playboy on his office wall. Based on his refusal to answer the question—and it’s a pretty simple one, after all—it seems likely that he’s paid for abortions in the past. He doesn’t really care about the transgender bathroom debate or its implications. Aside from that, he is shockingly uninformed on many of the issues, as this week’s presidential debate highlighted. He’s also explosive, thin-skinned, and unable to ignore baiting by opponents.

That is why the Left is absolutely apoplectic when they look at the polls and see that Donald Trump is running neck-in-neck with Hillary Clinton. They cannot understand why. She knows more about policy! She’s way calmer than he is! She’s got way more experience than he does! She says all the right things! Why? Why, as Clinton herself put it, is she not fifty points ahead right now? And why—why—are many people who genuinely find Trump to be a distasteful, out-and-out huckster still going to vote for him in November?

What the progressive and left-leaning columnists and punditry cannot understand is that for many Christians, deciding to vote for (not support) Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton isn’t a reflection on Trump’s suitability for the presidency nor his trustworthiness nor his social conservative credentials. Neither candidate is suitable for the presidency, neither is trustworthy, and Trump doesn’t have any social conservative credentials. Voting for Trump is not a reflection on Trump, it is a reflection on just how bad Hillary Clinton is, and just how scared many, many Christians are of another near-decade of secular progressive rule.

Trump has, of course, allowed the punditry to ignore Hillary Clinton’s career conveyer belt of corruption because they find him so repulsive that objectivity can be ignored. But in dishonesty, Hillary easily matches him—and when she does lie, her lies are of far more consequence. She, after all, lied to crush those “bimbos” her husband used in order to ensure the discarded women couldn’t threaten their careers. She lied about the terrorist attack in Benghazi, where an American ambassador and American citizens were murdered. She lied about her email servers (one of which she kept in her bathroom) and lied about how many devices she used to send and receive emails, compromising national security and in all probability (according to the FBI) exposing state secrets to the Russians and the Chinese. She was so habitually deceitful, as Christopher Hitchens once put it, that she had “no one left to lie to.” She’s also as personally repugnant as Trump is—read any behind-the-scenes account, from Bob Woodward’s books on the Clinton years to interviews with Secret Service agents, who universally despise her. Her temperament, which is even-keeled in public from years of practice, is explosive and profane behind closed doors.

The punditry is presenting this race as an unhinged, crazy racist a few sniffs shy of a straight-jacket and Hillary Clinton as a brilliant and upright stateswoman, when the fact is that it’s really hard to figure out who beats who for pathological lying, unpleasantness, and lack of moral character. The media doesn’t seem to realize just how loathed Hillary is, and don’t seem to recognize why. A lot of voters look at Donald Trump’s string of marriages and his boasting about his sexual exploits and just see white trash with money. They understand him, even if they don’t agree with his lifestyle. Hillary, on the other hand, scares them—cold, calculating, moving chess pieces about inch by inch for decades as she oozed towards her ultimate goal of being leader of the free world.

And the fact is, the left-of-centre—and even the few centrist—pundits simply do not understand what Christians are afraid of in Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hillary Clinton isn’t a lazy liberal, she’s a committed and passionate one. Planned Parenthood is possibly the only thing the Clintons have ever been faithful to. She wants to repeal the Hyde Amendment and thus force the taxpayers to fund each and every one of the more than one million abortions that happen each year. She says that those who oppose abortion and gay marriage must “change” their religious beliefs to get with the times. She is fully, 100% on board with the gay and transgender agenda. She poses a real and imminent threat to Christians who want to live their lives, run their own businesses, go to their own churches, and pass their values on to their children. But the punditry, who generally treat religious liberty as a non-issue or even, increasingly, a fictitious concept, do not realize that Hillary, to many Americans, is quite literally a destroyer of worlds.

That’s why many Christians are voting for Donald Trump. Not because of what he will do, but because of what he won’t do. Trump probably adopted the pro-life position out of sheer political convenience, and in all probability he doesn’t care about the issue in the slightest. But Hillary does care about the issue—she passionately wants to attack pro-life laws with all the power the presidency would afford her, and enshrine the right of Planned Parenthood’s butchers to receive funding directly from the wallets of the taxpayers. Trump may not do anything for the pro-life movement. But he certainly won’t make things worse, as Hillary promises to do nearly daily. And who knows? Trump adopted his pro-life position out of political expediency. Perhaps it will continue to be politically expedient for him to hang onto it. Pro-life leader Scott Klusendorf often noted that in regards to imperfect political candidates, you “vote for a second-class firefighter over a first-class arsonist.” For Trump, we’ll have to amend that a bit: Many would rather vote for a drunk, derelict, and negligent firefighter than a first-class arsonist, because sometimes someone not showing up at all is the best option on the table.

The same applies to religious liberty. In all likelihood, Trump doesn’t care about the issue—if he’s even aware of its existence. But Hillary would explicitly attack it. She supports Barack Obama’s executive orders demanding that all schools bow to the LGBTQ agenda. She does not support those who state that it is against their conscience to pay for birth control or abortion. She will very explicitly choose Supreme Court judges who genuflect to a gold-framed copy of Roe v. Wade each morning and see Obergefell as a triumph of the human spirit. When Christians are forced to choose between a candidate who doesn’t care about religious liberty at all and will maybe, perhaps pick decent Supreme Court justices, and a candidate who is dedicated to the destruction of religious liberty, pro-abortion justices, and thinks Christians just need to “change” their religious beliefs on some issues, they’re most likely going to pick the candidate who is most likely to leave them alone.

At the end of the day, virtually every criticism of Trump is true. He’s a huckster. He doesn’t care about most, if any, of the issues that are important to Christians. He’s probably just making promises to ensure that Christians show up and vote for him in November. But on the other hand, Hillary Clinton is passionate about these issues. She’s passionate about the ongoing destruction of human life by abortion, and she’s passionate about furthering the secular progressive agenda that has been backing Christians up against a wall for eight years. So when people point out that Donald Trump will probably do nothing, many Christians respond that yes, that’s the point. He probably won’t. She definitely will.

That’s why the left-wing pundits don’t understand why Christians could countenance voting for Trump, and why no one is listening to them. Because they think that Donald Trump is crazy, but they also think that dismembering and beheading a child in the womb is a wonderful right. They think that chemically castrating a gender-confused child is a sane thing to do. They think that people should have the right to kill themselves. They think that Christians are backwards, stupid, and outdated. And thus they don’t understand that when Christians read their columns pointing out how obvious it is that Hillary Clinton is the only reasonable candidate to vote for, they read that in context of everything else they believe—and they don’t take it particularly seriously.

The Left is sure that Trump would end the world as they know it. Christians fear that Clinton would turn the United States of America into a hostile nation for them to live in. And thus, the two sides will never see eye-to-eye.

You realize that the executive chairman of Breitbart, Stephen Bannon, has become Trump's campaign manager (the official title is apparently “campaign CEO”). Breitbart has literally become a mouth piece for the Trump campaign.

....and the rest of the media is part of the Clinton campaign.
You realize that there are other news outlets also reporting this as well. They just transition to Trump.

BTW, you forgot the National Enquirer being in the tank for Trump!

Your argument makes no sense, you are just pulling out the “everybody in the media is against us” trope that makes a Democrat out of the moderator of the last debate (who is actually a registered Republican) and refuses to see that many publications who have a long history of supporting Republican candidates have come out against Trump.

And even if you thought that all other media are shills for Clinton, the counter balance isn't to create a mouth piece for Trump, but independent conservative-leaning publications. If the head of a publication becomes the head of a campaign, then the publication ceases to be just that, it has just become another newsletter for Trump's campaign.

My lord, stop responding to him. He's immune to reality.

In other news, uh, it's October. Surprise!
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/02/us...axes.html?_r=0
Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years, records obtained by The New York Times show.

The 1995 tax records, never before disclosed, reveal the extraordinary tax benefits that Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, derived from the financial wreckage he left behind in the early 1990s through mismanagement of three Atlantic City casinos, his ill-fated foray into the airline business and his ill-timed purchase of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.
The three documents arrived by mail at The Times with a postmark indicating they had been sent from New York City. The return address claimed the envelope had been sent from Trump Tower.
I have to think that last part is a troll. What abetter way to seed further discord in the Trump campaign than by making him suspect everyone in HQ.

Indeed. He says enough stupid shit without making things up. I guess that just shows how terrified the Left is; a month until voting and it's a dead heat. Only Hillary could be so bad that it ended up this way, Bernie would be mopping the floor with him.

Bernie wouldn't have 30 years of brainwashing to overcome.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

If Bernie won I think we'd be hearing socialist labels at least 12 times every day. Perhaps we should be thankful for that, in terms of our collective sanity. It would have been interesting to see his eventual fluff attack list.
