I know how to make a new window pop up without a statusbar, using the standard window.open() function. However, this doesn't appear to work in AOL 8.0/Win's embedded browser. Does anyone know if there's a way to do it there?

man unless you are really worried about people who actually use aol's browser on your site, i wouldn't worry to much with aol honestly. i know that isn't an answer for you, but i totally quit worrying about aol browser a year or so ago. it sucks bad, and i think most people realize it.
