How do I include a small data table so that text wraps around it AND moves with the text?

Every time that I select Text Wrap > Around, Pages forcibly changes the highlighted tab from "Move with Text" to "Stay on Page."

I want my table to move with the text, AND have a small paragraph to the side, AND wrap that text around that table.

I can do that with a shape, but not with a table.

(I suppose that I could convert the table back to just raw text and use alignment tabs, but... really?)

post your file. I'd have to fiddle with pages, but maybe nesting tables is what you're after.

Put your table on top of a shape. Artwork, if it's an illustrated document. Otherwise, a borderless white rectangle.

Yeah same that made it work.

New question:

How can I cram a text box closer to a bunch of vector objects in such a way that Pages doesn't either collapse the text or forcibly move one of the vector objects?

Example:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ekq3o57fx...Way.pages?dl=0

I want to move the "Run: x2 - x1" much closer to the black circle vertex on the left, so that it looks aligned with the base of the triangle. But if I do that, Pages collapses the text.

(I can demonstrate this with a ton of other examples, e.g., putting a text box very close to an arrow, labeling 30 degrees and 60 degrees inside of a right triangle while also labeling the outside sides)

1. How do I fix these vector objects in place so that I can put the text boxes wherever I want, AND have the labeled triangle flow with the rest of the text in my notes?

2. Also, how do I insert a wedge of arbitrary angle, or 3D shapes such as a cube, cylinder, pyramid, etc. as I could with NeoOffice... or do I have to create these manually in Pages?
