Quoting CJ Riviera:

SVX stats
Mustang stats

Yep. I don't consider my SVX a sports car though. Nor do I consider a mustang GT a sports car. My insurance company doesn't call my 230hp awd SVX a sports car either, it's just a normal 'coupe'.

Yet every insurance company out there considers a Mustang GT a sports car. They must all be wrong and you are right. lmao

It's a sporty car, but its not a sports car. It's not in the same league as a vette or viper or something. It's a "PONY" car.

I could not care less. For me to even think about caring would be more caring than I am capable of on this issue.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

As I said, according to the insurance companies and anyone with half a brain, it's a sports car. You are wrong.

Mustang GT:

4.6 L V8
300 HP
0-60 in 5.1 s

That's a sports car.

Honda Accord EX:

3.0 L V6
240 HP
0-60 in 6.9 s

NOT a sports car.

It's not in the same league because those cars cost 2-3x as much as a Mustang GT.

It's sporty, but I don't see how it's a sports car. Mustangs can be used as a daily driver, so they've been compromised so far that they aren't like most real sports cars. According to the insurance company fine, but according to the insurance company there's a lot of ****ed up information. Just look at SUVs. Registered one way, insured another way.

I can get a used corvette that's faster than a mustang for cheaper than a new mustang GT.

ANY car can be used as a "daily driver" so that point makes no sense. Now, the base Mustang (V6) I would NOT consider a sports car.

Mustang V6:

4.0 L V6
210 HP
0-60 in 6.9 s

Pretty similar to the Honda Accord specs.

Uh Rob, posting a new thread about a thread that has been locked is a no no.

Yet another nick in the banning pit more than likely.

Lets hope they make this one stick.

Actually ANY thread is locked for a reason. And you are just making up your own rules.

This one will be locked too.
