I took about 8 pictures so you can make it exactly like it i stuffed it up since it wouldn't kill my hosting as bad and organized it so it would be easier to understand

It's an image someone else made long ago and it is large enough to never see the border on the side...to the bottom it fades to white and that's why you can scroll as much as you want! This works pretty well for me! (folders with lots of files I have in list view anyway)

And I'd love to edit itunes (and also many other stuff) if I only knew where to find those hex-codes...
(and I am partially green blind, that's why it already looks quite grey to me )

you can change the iTunes display easily with ThemePark. i know not everyone has it, but you could make a request to someone that does.

i themed my iTunes display to be blue with a more 3Dish apple.

show package contents of iTunes. open the iTunes.rsrc in ThemePark.

look in PICT

151 = display mask
152 = display
155 = mini display mask
156 = mini display

I'll try that....thanks!!

edit: can't get it to work!

-didn't chnage the mask but changed 152 to grey
-saved as iTunes.rsrc
-replaced the original
-started iTunes
-nothing new!

what's wrong?

it didn't change?

thats odd, because it worked on mine...

ok lets do option #2 then

go here and download then "Aqua LCD" skin for iTunes. all that one does is change the display. get it, open that up in ThemePark and see what they did. they did exactly what i said above though, so i'm confused as why it didn't work for you.

you can skin iTunes to be black, if you wanted. you need ThemePark and..well i'm not sure the resource # off the top of my head, but i know it's near the end.
