I was just looking for a backpack to hold my 12" PB. I narrowed it down to either booqbag or one by Spire. I ended up choosing the Spire Volt w/ Deluxe Boot. The booqbag seems to be kinda wide and I thought the 12" would slide around too much. The Spire bag has a nice velcro sleeve that secures a smaller padded case to put your laptop into. So it suspends the laptop as well as provides better protection for it. Also, a lot of people recommended the Spire bags as well. Check them out at www.spireusa.com I should be getting mine next week.

I have the Brenthaven backpack. Best backpack money can buy. I have abused it like crazy, and it has yet to fail me. You will love it to death.

I've been using my Arc'teryx backpack for years now. While not specifically made for Laptop transportation, it is rugged, comfortable, relatively watertight, made in Canada, and has served me well -- it's flown around the world once, three times to Australia, to California, and around Europe with me and two Pismos and a TiBook inside over the last 4 years, plus commuting almost every day, and it still looks great. It'll make yet another transition to a 17" soon I hope
