how to uninstall vpc 7

i started to install vpc with win xp, and after it tried to install for about 4 hrs and only got to 6% i decided to quit it. this morning i got an autoupdate for some microsoft sh*t and im assuming my comp thinks its still on here, i deleted the software and the virtual hd, anything else i need to remove?

Can I ask where you got it? I was thinking it was not out until next month, but if it's out now, I may buy a copy now (even though I know it might be a while before the graphics portion lives upto the hype like VPC 7.1 or 7.5). I'm going to drop by an Apple Store tonight.
edit: You might go delete the prefs (don't ask me where they are stored, MS may store them somewhere else). If you can give the software update error message/info, someone might be able to help you. Since your having problems installing it, repair permissions just for the heck of it - it might actually fix things. I've had problems with installing this or that application, and repairing permissions fixed it.
