I just bought a new MacBook Pro and I heard a lot about this "Garageband" app for music production. I have a passion for composing music and beats from my Computer so, I just want some advice on whether I should invest my time using this app or not?
Right now I am using Audacity on my windows system but I am looking for some change.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Garageband will certainly be easier than Audacity for creation, from what I recall playing around with it. We have some musicians around here who will hopefully chime in.
I've only used Audacity for editing and cleaning voice recordings. There is a mac version.

As soon as you do *anything* with multiple tracks, especially if if goes into editing and overdubs, GarageBand runs absolute rings around Audacity.
It is also the digital audio workstation with the lowest learning curve, and is extremely potent.
Additional bonus: if you ever hit GarageBand's limits, every single project is directly compatible with Logic Pro, since GarageBand is built on the Logic engine.
Logic Pro is one of the big industry-standard production platforms (alongside names like Pro-Tools, Ableton Live, and Cubase).

You can Purchase the MacBook Air, it has i3 CPU and i am also using the same macbook from the past 2 years.
Definitely it is value for money.
PS : I have some Windows Laptop, So, Is it possible to run Garageband On Windows PC? I think Previously it was possible. But, now, I wasn't able to find some ways to do so.

Garageband has never been available for Windows.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Yes, that's exactly what I do as of now. So I guess I should try my hands on Garageband then since you have mentioned the learning curve is the lowest with Garageband. and the potential is great as well.
Thank you!

True that but I think you can use it using the Hackintosh method or using emulators like VMWare etc to create a hybrid of macOS on your windows system. Never done it myself but I have read about it.

It is. If your time has no value, it can be a fun hobby. If you have better things to do, then the thing will crap out at the least convenient time.

You can take reference from this guide if you haven't tried them already.

Can I install Garageband on a VMware Windows partition on my Macbook Air? that's the question we should be asking.
