How do I fix the atrociously bad scrolling behaviour of Mozilla and Firefox? No matter what I do (enable smooth-scrolling, use USB Overdrive, etc), scrolling in Mozilla and Firefox is too fast, too slow, too jerky, too erratic).
Plus, Mozilla and Firefox seem to randomly change the function of my scroll wheel. I'll be merrily scrolling along when suddenly all the text on the browser window is selected as I scroll. If I scroll up, the text is un-selected. If I scroll down, the text is selected. I never set this option in Mozilla or USB Overdrive, so I have no idea why it happens.
In comparison, I have no scrolling issues in IE or Safari.
Are there any hidden options I can enable to fix the dreadful scrolling in these two browsers? Any scrolling config tutorials someone can point me towards?

No one has issues with scrolling in Mozilla or Firefox? Or does no one use them?

I have same issues and I haven't been able to solve them. Other problem is that clicking a link with scroll wheel doesn't open it in a new tab. Guess I have to use Safari until Firefox 0.9 or 1.0.

Try the SuperScroll extension. You can configure how many lines it scrolls. That should fix your issues.

And set your middle button to command-click.

I knew that, but I'm not going to install drivers for only one app.

Do you have a link for that app? I did a search at Macupdate.com and versiontracker.com and found nothing.
