I believe the French is “AIEEEEEE!!!”

I feel bad for him because now that everyone wants it, it got put in a sling.

I’m pretty sure the sympathy value is strongly mitigated by the long-term discomfort.

I didn’t either, but Spheric Harlot is 100% correct.

My Uber driver smacked into a pedestrian today.

I’d say he’s screwed. She was in a crosswalk.

She seemed relatively unharmed. She was able to scurry almost immediately after.

Driver made the mistake of asking “are you okay”. She’s not okay, you just hit her. Ask “are you hurt”.

I love that the text speaks of an “anomaly”, meaning that the object has exploded/disintegrated into 57+ pieces.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I doubt the explosion has to do with Boeing. You'd have to mix maneuver fuel and oxidizer in a vacuum. Or a battery explosion big enough to blow the satellite, with no prior warning signs.

No, the satellite must have been hit by debris or a meteorite. Something solid and moving fast. Perhaps the object went through the helium tank - used to pressurize fuel and oxidizer before a maneuver.

Kinda impressive that so much glass is intact on the cars. In fact, the only broken window I'm sure of is the windshield on the closest car.

Kind of surprised there isn’t any obvious damage to the buildings, too.
