Yesterday it was 19 degrees C (66F), and now it's snowing. Ironically, yesterday was officially winter, and it was just a few minutes ago today that it officially became spring.

Damn weird weather. At least it's not raining like the weatherman predicted.

Snow. Canada. March. Is that unusual? (I know, Toronto isn't in the Yukon.)

What's unusual here in Minnesota is that it hasn't snowed in weeks and everything on the ground has melted. Usually we get at least one big March snowstorm.

Mother Nature must be saving it up for April when Target Field opens.

Snow in spring? Must be CC/AGW, can't be weather.

Heh - I live in Canada and haven't seen snow at all yet this year. Not even during the goddamned WINTER OLYMPICS. Go figure.

Personally, I'm loving our weather. It's a wonderful feeling after three $500 gas bills in a row this winter.

Same for me. I laughed watching them haul snow from Manning Park to Cypress so the events could go on as scheduled.

Bright and sunny today in my part of Canada.. just mowed the lawn as a matter of fact.

I was just watching CNN weather.

36F in Dallas and a great big snowstorm in Oklahoma City right now. 71F in DC though.

It was about 75ºF here yesterday. This morning it got down to about 40ºF. We had a VERY strong front move through with 50+MPH winds and lots and lots of rain. The temperature dropped something like 20 degrees as the storm moved through. Pretty amazing.

That must be the same system that was here yesterday.

Indeed, not good. Need it to be dry so I can do some work outdoors. 240v + rain isn't going to go well.

I go for a run on Friday, it's 70 degrees outside. I have a race tomorrow (Shamrock Shuffle), and it's going to be 30 degrees and snowy. WTF.

Snow, yes, but it didn't really mean it. Warm again next week.

Same here, except about 8°C, not quite as warm as you lot got it.

I’d been so happy and enthusiastic about the beautiful sunny and above-zero weather we’d had for the past three days that I’d almost completely forgotten that no frost = rain, rain, rain.

Ya, it was fairly brutal and hilarious at the same time. My crew ended up delayed for days as they resorted to building the courses out of hay bales covered by all the trucked-in snow. I almost felt like a war zone up there, with constant waves of helicopters and dump trucks bringing all the stuff in. Oh, the tax dollars that got burned through....

Global warming is paying off right now for Canada at least. Going outside is awesome.

Weird is right. Wednesday and Thursday of this past week it was on the 60s (F) here in Madison, WI. Last night it started snowing and there was about two inches on the ground this morning.

According to my friends who are locals--I have lived here only five months--temperatures in the 60s are more typical of May than March. So, I guess our warm spell was a fluke.

It will be warming up to normal seasonal temps next week( highs in the 40s) but I will be in Phoenix, AZ for the week visiting my Dad. So, I have80F weather to appreciate.

Snowing again today. But yeah, it will melt immediately. Just not so pleasant for working in the garden like we were planning.

I hear you on that. I was planning to head out and get some pictures of the spring wildflowers today. But while it's not "that" cold right now, it is cool AND very windy. Not at all pleasant for that sort of photography.

We got slammed with snow last night. Now it's melting really fast and there is standing water everywhere.

You use F in Kyoto?

P.S. My car was covered in frost this am, and the windows needed a good scraping in order for me to see anything. By afternoon it was well into the teens, no jacket required.

My grass is slowly turning green now.

Sure do, just here on business from NY. I should have a better grasp of the metric system though.
