Here is my dilemma in a nut shell.....I have volunteer with an organization for a couple years now and always carried my MBP with me to do odds and ends there and the people there loved the interface so i went out on a limb on craigslist and bought two MBP that needed minor things such as memory and a hard drive turns out they both have logic board problems. One that is the 2.53 is toast as far as i can tell and the 2.25 one turns on and is functional but will not charge and the speakers wont work. So i am either looking for used logic boards to fix them or a place that might fix logic boards or have them for a reasonable price. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would scrap the whole thing but already have a lot of time and money invested.

Sounds like the 2.25 might just need a new Left I/O board. That's not a very costly repair.

i know a fair amount about the macbook pro but i am sure that the unibodies do no come with a separate i/o board. Yet i have been wrong about this before so if it is the case let me know where i can find it and how to replace it.
Thanks

I didn't notice that you specified 13" macbook pro in your title. Apologies.
Indeed there is no left i/o board on the unibodies.
