IBM's beefy Power6 boxes slaughter Java | The Register

Real World Technologies - In-Depth Technical Analyses And Help For Professionals

In 1 and 2 socket configurations Kentsfield and Clovertown Xeons beat the Power6. However it did beat the Tulsa Xeon in 4 socket tests.
