Now that Tiger has started shipping (to some people)

I thought it would be good to have a thread where people post pics of the widgets they are using and/or have created and the customisations they have done in/to Tiger.

What you think??

You're doomed man. Apple wrote down the IPs downloading the Install DVD. Sorry to frighten you and 1,000.000 other users.

Quick question. Do the widgets that were open in Dashboard stay open after a restart?

I personally think the Dashboard is pretty impressive and not at all as fugly as I first thought it was when we saw it back at WWDC 2004. My only wish: the development community puts out some decent widgets and not just a bunch of weather-related widgets like I see on Konfab. Even so, I can't wait for my copy to arrive on Friday! Probably one of the biggest and best OS X updates to date for all the under-the-hood innovation as well as all the visible stuff. Longhorn can't touch it!

The weather widget is just beautiful. Probably will replace WeatherMenu for me (with Dashboard just a button away).

BTW this thread could use some more thumbnails (I believe the above graphic violates forums policy about image size, at least without it specified in the subject ).

I am thinking not mate... - I dont care to be honest as I am still on panther till tiger finally arrives, which will hopefully be here soon.

Also it would not be possible for apple to do that as you are NOT downloading from there servers... so they have no access to the information as to where you would/have got it from, and rather than trace the users they would just bring down the site/newsgroup/whatever distributing it.

Anyways this is not about how you got the copy etc...
- This thread is intended for those who have a "proper" copy to post some images and information ect... on widgets and customisations.

Cheers
Daz

Apple can see who is downloading files VIA Bit Torrent without said server belonging to them.

at first I was "How rude!!" but then . . . [picture is proof, Duke] well either you got your hands on the .torrent or you are distributing the .torrent . . . hope you're telling the truth and neither is true.
