Hi,

do you think that an upgraded PM 9600 ( G4/700, 896MB Ram) under OSX 10.3 would give an reasonable NAS (network attached storage) server?

If I would put a SATA Raid (for data safety) in it, 5 400GB SATA Drives (>2TB of Storage minus overhead for Raid 5) a gigabit networkcard.

Reasonable means to me around 20MB/s over gigabit ethernet to a PM G5 and a Ti Book.

Anny sugestions are welcome.
